Scattered flash flooding is possible on Saturday across Deep South Texas as the entire area is under a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall. Meanwhile, on Sunday, there is a Marginal of Isolated Risk (Level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall for areas east of IH-69C/US-281. High atmospheric moisture content combined with multiple showers and thunderstorms tracking over an already saturated ground could lead to instances of flash flooding over the weekend, especially Saturday. Rainfall rates will be key!
