Rain and thunderstorms will move in from the west this evening, getting to central and north-central Wisconsin between 7-10 PM, and then reaching eastern Wisconsin around or a little after midnight. A few strong storms with gusts to 60 mph and small hail are possible through mid-evening. Locally heavy rain of 1 to 2 inches is possible, with most places receiving closer to 0.5 to 1 inch of rain. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger into Friday, but most of the day will be dry. Dry weather continues this weekend, followed by rain and thunderstorms early next week.
