|
A low pressure system will bring widespread rain and possible thunderstorms to southern California, with rain starting as early as Thursday night. Expecting about 0.50 to 1.50 inches of rain, with higher totals for the mountains and foothills, and for localized areas that experience thunderstorms. Thunderstorms can lead to heavy downpours, lightning, small hail, and locally gusty winds. Mountain snow is also expected, with at least a few inches possible above resort levels. Prepare for the weather by adjusting outdoor plans and travel plans. Lower confidence in rain chances for the rest of the weekend.
