Wintry weather remains on track to impact most of northeast Wisconsin through Wednesday morning. Precip will start as light snow mainly north of Hwy 29, before a heavier and more widespread wintry mix arrives this evening, with heavy snow occurring across north-central Wisconsin. Rain mixed with freezing rain/drizzle is expected south of Hwy 29 through Wednesday morning. Depending on how much freezing rain/drizzle mixes in, up to around 0.05" of ice is possible in areas highlighted in yellow on the map. Highest snowfall amounts of 5 to 8" is expected over portions of north-central and far northeast Wisconsin. Impacts to the Wednesday morning commute are anticipated with snow-covered roads across the north and icy spots across central and east-central Wisconsin.
