A large south swell from hurricane Narda is expected to reach the area Sunday, peaking Monday and Tuesday. This south swell will bring strong, dangerous rip currents, elevated surf, and a threat of minor coastal flooding to south facing shores through Wednesday. Remain out of the water due to hazardous swimming conditions, and follow guidance from local lifeguards. Stay off of rocks and jetties, as large waves can sweep people into the ocean.
