Periods of showers and thnderstorms will continue throughout this weekend, especially this evening, and Sunday evening into Monday morning. Some of the storms could become strong to severe Sunday evening into Monday morning, with the primary concern being quarter sized hail, and maybe wind gusts up to 60 mph near and south of U.S. Highway 20. Another minor concern will be locally heavy rainfall and a limited risk of flash flooding. As cool and dry northwest winds up to 45 mph rush into the area Monday and Monday night, temperatures should remain below normal for the majority of the work week.
