Patchy Fog then Mostly Sunny
Hi 77 °F
NWS forecast: Patchy fog before 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. West southwest wind 0 to 10 mph.
Today will be a warm day generally 10 degrees above normal. A surge of moisture from the southwest brings increasing clouds and chances for showers and thunderstorms mostly to the southern mountains. In spite of the moist surge, the Gunnison Basin and the Colorado River headwaters will still see critical fire weather conditions today with Red Flag Warnings in effect. Deeper moisture arrives overnight tonight for more showers and thunderstorms tomorrow over the San Juan Mountains.
