We experienced multiple rounds of heavy showers and storms over the past few days as smaller disturbances moved around a nearly stalled large upper-level system over the Southern Plains. The bulk of the rainfall over the past 72-hrs fell yesterday as strong thunderstorms produced rainfall rates 2-4" per hour and training storms. Widespread 1 to 3 inches were observed, with pockets of 5 to 7 inches.
