5PM 4/9 - A cold front moving through the area this evening will bring improved moisture, cooler temperatures, and more cloud cover into the High Plains for Friday. There will be some patchy morning fog both Friday and Saturday mornings.
The next warming trend resumes Saturday, with a chance for scattered PM showers and isolated thunderstorms. Widespread wetting rainfall is unlikely. Conditions will dry into Sunday and Monday, which will increase wildfire danger over the High Plains along with expected gusty winds. Each day will bring a few PM showers but rainfall will again be minimal.
A disorganized storm system will bring cooler temperatures and a slightly better chance for rain and high elevation snow showers Tuesday into Wednesday. Breezy to windy conditions are also likely behind the system.
