WEATHER STORY
Cheyenne
Weather Forecast Office
Fire Weather Watch Saturday-Monday Warmest March Week SKYWARN Spotter Training Schedule
4AM 3/27 - A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for most of the area. For Wyoming, this begins Saturday morning and continues through Monday evening. For Nebraska, this begins Sunday morning and continues through Monday evening. Gusty westerly winds, very warm temperatures, and low humidity will create favorable conditions for the rapid spread of wildfire. In addition, there will be a few virga showers each afternoon and evening that will bring gusty/erratic winds and perhaps a few isolated lightning strikes.
