April 27th, 4AM - A second Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges at 3PM this afternoon, after a brief lull in accumulating snow this morning. Another wave of snow will develop this afternoon/evening with total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches. Locally higher amounts up to 12 inches will be possible in the highest peaks. Outdoor recreation could become dangerous to anyone caught unprepared. Outdoor recreationists may become disoriented or lost due to low visibility in falling snow.
