4/11 3:30am - There is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe storms across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska this afternoon. Primary concern will be strong winds with any storm that develops. Additionally, light showers and virga showers may produce wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. Slow moving storms may produce moderate to heavy rainfall. Stay weather aware this afternoon and evening!
*Virga occurs when rain falls from a cloud, but evaporates before hitting the ground, resulting in no precipitation and frequently accompanied with very strong wind gusts.
