After some showers over the higher terrain across the eastern Sierra, and gusty winds across the region, dissipate this evening, near average temperatures and drier conditions continue Monday into Tuesday. Wednesday will begin with the passage of another storm system over the region that brings more Sierra snow and travel impacts for area mountain passes. Area-wide across the region more valley rain will be accompanied with gusty SW-W winds. Ridgetops across the Sierra crest will also see wind gusts of 80+ mph that will bring impacts to backcountry recreation and aviation interests.
