We have the summer weather reruns now playing through Thursday with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms over the mountains each afternoon and evening packed with all the action fun of lightning, brief heavy rain leading to flash floods, especially near recent fire scars, gusty outflow winds to 40 mph, and even some occasional penny sized hail. Friday has a special, one day only, showing of a return of critical fire weather to the lower elevations. This may be some fun with the forecast, but understand, these are real threats with life and death consequences. Stay weather aware, and heed all weather warnings and advisories.
