An unsettled stretch of weather is expected through the middle of the week as showers and thunderstorms become more widespread Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Rain chances will be highest across northern portions of the area Tuesday, with activity gradually ending from west to east Wednesday. Drier conditions and more sunshine return Thursday and Friday, with slightly cooler temperatures and overnight lows falling into the 50s across much of the area.
